Fragmented to Whole: Life Lessons from 12 Step Recovery
Tired of feeling fragmented and overwhelmed? Fragmented to Whole: Life Lessons from 12-Step Recovery is your guide to creating a life of wholeness, authenticity, and healthy boundaries. Join Barb Nangle, a boundaries coach and speaker, as she shares raw and honest insights from her own journey and the principles of 12-step recovery. Discover how to set boundaries without guilt or shame, overcome people-pleasing tendencies, manage your emotions effectively, cultivate a stronger sense of self, and build healthier relationships. Barb's approach is raw, honest, and sometimes a little bit (okay, a lot) sweary.
Barb doesn't speak for or endorse any particular 12 step program of recovery. Though she's a huge fan of 12 step recovery, and a member of two 12 step fellowships, she cannot speak for them. 300 Episodes of Recovery: My Journey from Numbing to Freedom | Episode 300
We learn in recovery that the reason we continue to carry the message of recovery is that, yes, we want other people to recover. Still, first and foremost, we carry the message to continue recovering ourselves. So, for my 300th podcast episode, I wanted to reflect on my journey from numbing myself to finding freedom through recovery and how continuing to share the message of recovery has been transformative in my life. This week’s episode 300 of the Fragmented to Whole Podcast is about my journey from numbing to freedom!
In this episode of the Fragmented to Whole Podcast, I’m celebrating the milestone of reaching 300 podcast episodes and recapping my story, highlighting the tools that aided my recovery and the spiritual awakenings that changed my life.
Some of the talking points I go over in this episode include:
- How my numbing behaviors evolved throughout my life before recovery.
- The series of events that brought me to recovery in the first place.
- Tools and lessons learned along the way that I now help others with.
- Some of the spiritual awakenings that shifted the way I view my life and situations.
- Why I continue to carry on the message of recovery.
Again, thank you so much for joining me on this journey to 300 podcast episodes. I hope my story of growth inspires you on your own journey in recovery. Don’t forget to review the podcast and let me know what stood out with you the most.
